My question is; who is the inspector in the Paris police? Is it Inspector Jacques Clouseau? A character who could unravel the mystery (and any parallel realities) within a single chapter.

That’s an interesting question, I mean from my writer’s point of view, because at this stage I had not envisaged the inspector having any on-screen role at all. He doesn’t even have a name. At some point later on he’ll provide an important piece of information and that’s as far as I’ve got with him.

On the other paw, given what I have planned for Act II I should probably revaluate his role, because he would come in very useful and it wouldn’t make sense if he wasn’t involved.
