These are all well-thought options with very differing endings. Some of them are quite scary, to be honest, especially Danuih's one with her being some kind of a conscious entity and eradication of the cancer tissue that is growing for quite a while already.
What's interesting for me is a kind of synchronicity going on here. I've been saying for the last decade or so, that the way we treat our mother Nature and Gaia is so repulsive, that she'll literally spit us out into the Universe one fine day. When she's fed up with all the literal crap and freaks out, as if she was alive, we'll be dealt with in matter of minutes. Mother Nature always takes care of balancing the tangible homeostasis as I'm pretty sure that equilibrium is the most natural state of things in the Universe. I'm glad to know now that I was not the only one intuiting such option. It would definitely serve as a confirmation of the fact that we know basically nothing about the appearances and forms of intelligence.
On a side note - does intelligent life form or consciousness even need physical mass or embodiment to exist and be aware of itself? Our materialistic nature can't fathom it, but on the other paw it's true that the most abundant thing in the entire Universe that connects everything is.....the photon field. Simple light. The bearer of information, as we have recently been able to determine in practice. In a grand picture it looks like the entire Universe is one big organism or an orderly system with its own house rules. I wouldn't be surprised if it proved to be so in reality.
I'll be working on the event day, but I've already set the alarm clock 5 mins earlier. If there's a chance of an ELE, I'll be smoking my last cigarette as it starts happening and face the complete lack of survival skills later on - if I'm granted a chance by Danuih :-D She has to appreciate the attitude, though.
I completely agree about the photon field. Interesting that MM doesn't even seem to speculate on this kind of stuff. Photons, for example, can have spin, meaning a spin that way can be a zero and a spin this way can be a 1, and that's a quantum computer. Add stacked spins and you quickly end up with hexadecimal.
This would happen naturally too. Every planetary body both absorbs and emits charge. They collect it, swish it around themselves a little and then release some of it. That's intelligence. and of course they all communicate with each other. The solar system is a family. So is this galactic sector, so is the galaxy itself, and so is the universe (and the multiverse - each universe being a spiral arm emanating from the centre point - gravity being the direction of spin - I'll have to write about this sometime). If consciousness can exist within us, and that's just physics, then it can certainly happen with other bodies too.
So yeah - Danuih knows exactly what's going on here and she can just spit them all out if it gets too nauseating! I would not be surprised in the slightest if it turned out the wow signal wasn't ETI after all but her. It was, after all, inserted directly into the computer.
Sorry I've only just replied btw - I had a good first half of the day, but then I wanted to do the music thing and kept running into problems. And of course we needed a drink (or sixteen). I have a much better version of the music but I couldn't convert the damn file. I will work on that. I was quite good at piano once.
I shall certainly be joining you in a smoke at that time. Then I shall probably be sitting in front of my computer just in case something immediate happens. I am minded to believe, though, that it's not something that will be noticed straight away. Ironically, if Carter dies at 11:26 then it might well take 17 minutes and 44 seconds for the news to reach the public.
I think my predictions are logically sound, though. Unless there's something glaring I've missed.
I did notice today, though (it just popped into my head), that 16/11/2024 is the same as 24-3-12. 8-1-4, that is. Keep the 16 but reduce the 11 to 2, and the 2024 to 8, then you have 16-2-8, divide by 2 = 8-1-4. So that's a second reinforcement. That's good enough for me.
Anyway - I am finally going to bed now, and I will pay as close attention to my dreams as I possibly can.
