I was hoping to give you this hours ago, but one thing I seriously don’t like about humans is how unnecessarily difficult they make things.
I finally managed to download a piano app, but… well, I’m not going to bore you with how difficult it turned out to actually record something.
Still, I am delighted to have a piano - of sorts - after all this time. I have sorely missed having a piano for thirty years, and should’ve done this long ago.
But that story is for another time.
What I wanted to give you now is just a little sample of the music from the Wow! signal. That’s to say, the musical key encrypted into it.
As a reminder, the notes are G, A flat, A sharp, B, C sharp, D sharp, and E. This is a kind of altered F-sharp key, or B if you like, depending on which note you start on. It has hints of the ancients about it. Something about Atlantis, perhaps.
I’ll not likewise bore you with musicology here. I’ll talk about that at a later date.
So this is just me playing for a minute in a single octave, just to give you a sample of what it sounds like.
I think, actually, that now I have a new piano, of sorts, I may think about giving you more beautiful things in the future.
Anyhow - here’s the gift to humanity from an other intelligence.
This planet is, after all, a planet of music and healing. Those who are sensitive to such things, will understand that perfectly, I think.
The Goddess approves.
Happy Event Day, by the way…
Without music, life would be a mistake

Have a lovely day!
Intriguing. How were the specific notes interpreted from the signal?
Is there an assumption ET would use our standard frequencies to determine individual notes? If so:
a) Why would ET use our increments of our 24hr cycle? as in why would they use cycles per second (Hz) to denote a specific note?
b) Why would they use our standard of 440Hz concert pitch A4 to tune their notes?
Contrary to popular belief (after untold hours of research ~20yrs ago) the 432Hz "frequency of the universe" is very unlikely to be a universal standard in the universe either, if there is a "Frequency of the Universe" it's most likely to be the frequency of the cosmic microwave background radiation (160.23GHz).
For anyone wondering WFT I'm on about, proponents of the 432 Hz standard argue that this lower frequency is more harmonious with nature and the human body, citing its mathematical relationship to the Schumann Resonance, the Earth’s electromagnetic “heartbeat” of approximately 8 Hz. You can listen to many examples of 432Hz music on the interwebs compared to the same music in 440Hz tuning and make your own mind up (TLDR it's subjective). There's a whole nother rabbit hole to go down regarding why "they" decided to use 440Hz as the concert standard.
so nice! I liked the 'associativeness' (is that an existing term?) of the notes. almost like a melody ;-)) the way I listened to it there was a lot of echo (reverb), which gave the notes a bit of a blankety sound. "cloudy"? misty, perhaps (as in: a mysterious woman can have a misty voice. or...?). indeed, music is wonderful. we would've invented it if it hadn't been around.
