If you haven't already, though - you really start with part one of the story, or the intro, even. I get increasingly mindful of people encountering spoilers these days.
You also got me thinking, or reminded me, rather, that since music does feature quite highly in the final version, I'm going to have to get a playlist going at some point. But this track would definitely be on it.
The Leningrad Theatrical Group has dozens of hilarious videos that cut right to heart of current social and political issues, not just in Russia, but that seems to be their main focus. Here's a few of my favourites
I think 'tits' was the best one. I love the bit when she watching the telly and says thank you to Putin.
But in that other one, 'Candidate' - did he really, really have to do that to the cat?! Yes, I know it's only make believe but still! I have empathy! I'm a cat-lover! eek!
Yeah that was a bit much with the cat. I think that was meant to be a poke at some people's attitude towards immigrants but they could have done without it. Some of their other material is really violent, so be warned if you go exploring.
Yeah - the VIP one was a bit weird although the fight sequence was kind of funny because it was so silly. And I did like the 'fuck it let's drink vodka' one. So I shall probably give in to my explorative urges there.
I'll read this later, but the opening part reminded me of this:

(It has English subtitles)
That's so totally perfect! I love it!

OK, I'll start at the beginning (a very good place to start, according to Julie Andrews)
Could take me a while though as I just started reading War and Peace.

Here's another one about drinking.
