Plugging my book time!
Rejected Messages available for half price!
Hello all my lovely subscribers! And anyone else reading this who hasn’t yet subscribed (try it - it’ll make you happy, trust me!).
Anyway, this is a quick paste of a recent note letting you know that my first book, Rejected Messages, is available for half price (!!) in the Smashwords read an ebook week sale (from the 3rd to the 9th of March 2024). So this means instead of the usual $2.49, you can acquire a copy for the grand total of only $1.24!! Now if that’s not a bargain, I don’t know what is.
Yes, I know I can do better on cover design. I also missed out the 3111 from channel three. How remiss of me. All those numbers are from the wow! signal, by the way. Notice you can see Pi to 7 decimals in the second column of numbers… After the fiction in this book there are some essays about ETI and SETI and all that, including this one (‘Channel Hopping with the Wow Signal’), which is available on my Paschat Diplomacy site, verifying the authenticity of that signal. You can also read another story there too (Ciao, SETI!), as it happens, which will be from my forthcoming second collection, Immigration Control (D-Zero Meson Oscillation likewise).
Hmm, I have just realised there is something screwy going on with the site, namely the Archive doesn’t work. I’ve been meaning to redo the whole thing anyhow, so I’ll just move that up my priority list…
Anyway, if you like your speculative fiction amusing and satirical, yet immersed with some lovely philosophy and profound feelings, then you will like my little book. It will tell you what extraterrestrials really think of humanity and, as per that wow! signal, provide the absolute proof of their/our existence.
